Accurate, consistent and bright, that’s my mission. With my Master’s degree in Translation, I can call myself a qualified translator. I have been working as a freelance translator of English and Russian into Dutch under the name of ACB Languages since July 2015. I previously worked for five years as a translator/project manager at a translation agency, where they were impressed with my eye for detail. At the agency I developed from a graduate to the professional I am today. Apart from translating, I also reviewed translations from other translators and proofread PDF files for DTP purposes.

I grew up in Flanders, Belgium, but gained my translation experience in the Netherlands. This means that I am familiar with both variants of the Dutch language. It's my interest in other cultures and languages that inspired me to start with translation studies after graduating as a social worker (HRM specialisation). Apart from Russian and English, the languages I studied, I also have an intermediate understanding of French and Spanish.
